Neighborhood Initiatives and Transit Oriented Planning
Priority Outcome: Create a more livable and sustainable city
This program provides targeted neighborhood plans to address more localized land-use issues and
challenges through Specific Plans, zoning overlays, transportation plans, streetscape plans, and other
planning tools. This program also prepares transit-oriented plans in conjunction with other transportation
agencies using grant funds.

Associates to maintain Specific Plans Citywide including the
Ventura and Warner Center Specific Plans. Related costs
consist of employee benefits.

22. Transit Neighborhood Plans 291,772 - 436,073
Continue funding and resolution authority for three positions
consisting of one City Planner and two City Planning
Associates to complete work on Transit Oriented Districts. All
direct costs associated with this work program will be
reimbursed by a Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation
Authority grant. Related costs consist of employee benefits.
