Major Projects and Project Plan Support
Priority Outcome: Promote good jobs for Angelenos all across Los Angeles
This program processes large scale developments, zoning administration, subdivision, and City Planning
Commission cases as well as the associated environmental analysis including Environmental Impact Reports
and Development Agreements. This program includes the Expedited Processing Section for the Department
which provides the public with a faster alternative for processing entitlement applications. This program also
provides design guidelines, standard operating procedures for all project planning functions, and training for
Department staff, Planning Commissions, Neighborhood Councils, City Council, and the Mayor's Office.

Continue funding and add regular authority for four positions
consisting of one Principal City Planner, one Management
Analyst, one City Planner, and one Senior Management
Analyst II for the processing and handling of environmental
report materials that are prepared by outside consultants.
Funding is provided by the Planning Case Processing Special
Fund. Related costs consist of employee benefits.
