Priority Outcome: Create a more livable and sustainable city
This program consists of a network of individuals and organizations anchored by City-owned cultural assets
located in communities throughout Los Angeles that offer high-quality instruction in the arts; presents solo and
group art exhibitions; creates outreach programs for underserved populations; develops special initiatives for
young people; and supports numerous events during the year that celebrate the cultural diversity of the
community. Services are provided through Department of Cultural Affairs-managed art centers and theaters
and partnered facilities.

Towers Art Center and Charles Mingus Youth Art Center.
