Neighborhood Initiatives and Transit Oriented Planning
Priority Outcome: Create a more livable and sustainable city
This program provides targeted neighborhood plans to address more localized land-use issues and
challenges through Specific Plans, zoning overlays, transportation plans, streetscape plans, and other
planning tools. This program also prepares transit-oriented plans in conjunction with other transportation
agencies using grant funds.

Continue funding and resolution authority for one Senior City
Planner to support the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA)
Master Plan. The cost of this position will be reimbursed by the
Department of Airports for work completed on the LAWA
Master Plan. Related costs consist of employee benefits.
