Stormwater Pollution Abatement Fund

Operation and Maintenance - TMDL Compliance Projects. Funds are -- 80,000
provided for contractors to perform specialized maintenance for
stormwater projects.

Payment for Sewer Construction Maintenance Fund Loan. Funds are -- 356,973
provided for principal and interest amounts.

San Fernando Valley Stormwater Capture Projects. Funds are provided -- 4,000,000
for stormwater projects in collaboration with the Los Angeles Department
of Water and Power that are located in the San Fernando Valley.

Sanitation Contracts. Funds are provided for the City’s annual share of 1,820,000 1,550,000
operation and maintenance costs for the stormwater public education
program ($400,000), illicit discharge cleanup ($850,000), and regulatory
support ($300,000) contracts.

Reimbursement of General Fund Costs. Funds were provided to 2,983,599 --
reimburse the General Fund for fringe benefits, central services, and
department administration and support. The subsidy provided by the
General Fund in 2021-22 is $17,357,153.
