consisting of two Deputy City Attorney IIIs and one Paralegal II
for the workload in the Police Litigation Division attributed to
the enactment of state legislation, which requires disclosure of
records related to incidents involving discharge of a firearm by
a peace officer, use of force by a peace officer resulting in
significant bodily injury or death, and sustained findings by the
Police Department or Police Commission that a peace officer
engaged in dishonest conduct. Related costs consist of
employee benefits.

Continue funding and resolution authority for six positions,
consisting of one Deputy City Attorney III, one Deputy City
Attorney II, two Legal Secretary IIs, one Paralegal II, and one
City Attorney Investigator II assigned to the civil and criminal
enforcement of consumer protection matters. Funding is
provided by the Consumer Protection Trust Fund. Related
costs consist of employee benefits.
