TRAFFIC SAFETY FUND
The City's share of fines and forfeitures collected under Section 42200 et. al from any person charged with a misdemeanor or an
infraction under the Vehicle Code of the State of California is used for traffic signs, signals, and other traffic control and safety
devices; traffic law enforcement and accident prevention; and for the maintenance, improvement or construction of public streets,
bridges and culverts within the City.
