PREFACE

The Office of the City Administrative Office produces this booklet at the
request of the Chair of the Budget and Finance Committee. It contains
various exhibits, summaries, and working papers to assist the City
Council, the Chief Legislative Analyst, other City staff, and the public
in the review of the Mayor’s Proposed Budget. It is designed to provide
condensed information so the reader can focus on the basic elements
of the Proposed Budget.
