Employee Relations
The Employee Relations Division of the Office of the City Administrative Officer (CAO) serves as the central hub for labor relations and workforce management for the City of Los Angeles. Tasked with representing the City in formal labor negotiations, the Division provides and maintains critical resources for both management and staff, including Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) with various labor organizations and updated salary range tables, as listed below. This page also provides links to essential administrative tools and forms for Family and Medical Leave (FML), retirement incentive programs, and specialized hiring requests, ensuring a structured and transparent relationship between the City and its diverse workforce.
