Adult Workforce Development
Priority Outcome: Promote good jobs for Angelenos all across Los Angeles
This program administers the City's Workforce Development system consisting of the City's WorkSource
Centers, Rapid Response programs, and other career and employment training programs for adults, funded
by the U.S. Department of Labor under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and other various
grants.

Continue funding and resolution authority for 14 positions
consisting of one Assistant General Manager of Economic and
Workforce Development, one Assistant Chief Grants
Administrator, one Community Program Director, one Project
Assistant, three Project Coordinators, one Senior Management
Analyst II, two Senior Project Assistants, and four Senior
Project Coordinators to implement the 2020-21 Workforce
Development Board Annual Plan. Funding is provided by the
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act ($1,549,665), LA
County Youth Job Program Fund ($3,319), and Community
Development Trust Fund ($1,659). Related costs consist of
employee benefits.
