STREET DAMAGE RESTORATION FEE SPECIAL FUND
BASIS FOR THE PROPOSED BUDGET
The 2020-21 Proposed Budget for the Street Damage Restoration Fee (SDRF) Special Fund relates to
current year funding as follows:

The Street Damage Restoration Fee Special Fund was created by Council action to receive revenues
from the Street Damage Restoration Fee. The Fee was established in 1998 to reimburse the City for
damage to City streets caused by excavations or other work performed by any entity, including City
agencies, required to obtain a permit for the performance for this work. The funds are to be used only
for:
Street maintenance, resurfacing, repair and reconstruction.
Laboratory fees, testing, materials, engineering.
Salaries and overhead associated with these items.
