                the City Attorneys' representation units. Add one-time funding
                in the Salaries General Account for upfront MCLE costs in
                accordance with the MOU.

                Continue funding and resolution authority for seven Deputy
                City Attorney IIs within the Marijuana Enforcement Unit in the
                Criminal and Special Litigation Branch to enforce and
                prosecute illegal cannabis operations in the City of Los
                Angeles, and four positions consisting of one Assistant City
                Attorney, one Deputy City Attorney III, one Deputy City
                Attorney II, and one Legal Secretary II within the Cannabis
                Advice and Litigation Unit to support the Department of
                Cannabis Regulation. Funding for the four positions in the
                Cannabis Advice and Litigation Unit is provided by the
                Cannabis Regulation Special Revenue Trust Fund
                ($644,478). One vacant Paralegal I within the Marijuana
                Enforcement Unit is not continued. Related costs consist of
                employee benefits.
