Structural Plan Checking
Priority Outcome: Promote good jobs for Angelenos all across Los Angeles
This program includes accepting and reviewing plans and issuing structural permits for construction projects
which include new buildings, additions, remodels or repair of single-family dwellings, duplexes, apartments,
industrial, commercial, and office buildings, and engineering plan checking for structural and permit issuing.

11. Airports Structural Plan Check 589,448 - 851,201
Continue funding and resolution authority for four positions
consisting of one Building Civil Engineer II, one Building Civil
Engineer I, one Structural Engineering Associate IV, and one
Structural Engineering Associate III to facilitate and expedite
improvement projects currently underway at the Los Angeles
International Airport. Continue one-time funding in the
Transportation Account to provide mileage reimbursement.
Funding is provided by the Building and Safety Building Permit
Fund and is fully reimbursed by the Department of Airports.
