Major Project Coordination
Priority Outcome: Create a more livable and sustainable city
This program is responsible for the implementation of large public, joint-agency transportation projects.
Program staff provides coordination, design review, and other services to assist in significant construction
projects. Program staff also implements temporary traffic management measures to minimize the impact of
major construction projects on transit, pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists.

Continue funding and resolution authority for three positions
consisting of one Transportation Engineering Associate III, one
Transportation Engineering Associate II, and one
Transportation Engineer to support the Los Angeles
Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) transit
improvement projects. Funding is provided by the Proposition
C Anti-Gridlock Transit Improvement Fund and the costs will be
fully reimbursed by Metro. Related costs consist of employee
benefits.

Continue funding and resolution authority for one Supervising
Transportation Planner I for the State Route 710 North Mobility
Projects. Funding is provided by the Proposition C Anti-

reimbursed by the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation
