Potential Economic Impact
Total direct and indirect/induced economic impact from business sales resulting from events held at the LACC
between 2022 and 2035 is projected to be approximately $2.8 billion as shown in the table below. These sales will
support 18,947 full time equivalent (FTE) jobs and $178 million in state and local tax assessments. The following
projections assume the eventual recovery of the conventions industry post-pandemic as well as the completion of
the proposed LACC Expansion and Modernization Project in 2025-26.
