CAPITAL AND TECHNOLOGY IMPROVEMENT EXPENDITURE PROGRAM
TECHNOLOGY
The Technology Capital and Technology Improvement Expenditure Program (CTIEP) includes Citywide technical
infrastructure, such as radio towers, network equipment, and fiber optic infrastructure, as well as major technology projects and
system replacements. The Technology CTIEP does not include items with an estimated cost of less than $1 million, unless the
project is determined to have a significant Citywide impact. Unlike Municipal Facilities, Physical Plant, and Clean Water CTIEP
projects, which are budgeted centrally, technology projects are budgeted within the individual department that administers the
project and are summarized herein.
