Priority Outcome: Make Los Angeles the best run big city in America
This program evaluates employees to maintain a safe and healthy workforce; assists City departments in
preventing and resolving safety and health issues; directs departments in control factors affecting employee
safety, which includes compliance with Cal/OSHA regulations, work fitness evaluations, commercial driver
license examinations, drug and alcohol testing, and pre-placement physical and psychological examinations.
